We Seek to Transform.
After taking a year off to decide what the next step would be, I decided to embark on a similar journey to my parents and to become a teacher. My journey started with a short stint at St Charles College in Pietermaritzburg moving onto a wonderful opportunity to play a part as a founder teacher at the newly developed Penryn College, outside Nelspruit.
My role started as an IT specialist but rapidly evolved into other roles including Head of House and teaching Maths, Biology and Life Orientation, . I also started Rugby at the school and was a keen Sportsman and Coach. The desire to play a leadership role in a developing school took me to a stint as Deputy Head at Grantleigh on the KZN North coast. This was followed with an opportunity to run a Bush School in the Waterberg.
Not being satisfied and feeling very restless, I moved to Cape Town in search of a path that would play more to my strengths ad allow me to implement the vision I had since I was 16. I have been in this road now for 8 years. I love it. I have found who I am and every day I get to celebrate that as I seek to positively impact the world around me. I am very passionate about schools as I believe they are the breeding ground for the Talent we need in the united country we still need to create.
